I watched this film for the first time and realized that I'd heard the main theme before, many times when I was young. There was a .MOD version of it with the usual pan flute and synth samples that I loved. This is the song as it sounds in the movie:

I've search in my old hard drives and on this site for variations of "rain man" and "zimmer", found some lovely other songs but not what I was looking for.

If anyone recalls this, I would be grateful. It's not a classic tracker song by any means but you understand how nostalgia urges you.

Not sure how close it is, but https://modarchive.org/index.php?request=view_by_moduleid&query=53740 has some of the melody in it.

I have the .XM down as A-Lin but no credits in the file as such..
