I tried ms-trackers once, but that was even after the time i started with modplug, so it couldn't really convince me :D i also would have to switch to my other pc all the time if i would do musics on the old machine...

Uhh, I've got my collection of oldies which I sometimes use (on emulator or sometimes on a real DOS/Amiga machine).

Those I actually use are:
    ProTracker 1.1 (on Björk's Amiga 500)
    ScreamTracker III
    Imago Orpheus
    FastTracker II
Ken's Music Tracker or something, some adlib coolie stuff at least.
    Pulse Tracker (ehehehe...)
And last but not least, DeliTrakker!

I still use AHX and Protracker on my old Amigas.

I can't stand using the Emulators although I did compose my first Hivelytracker piece in WinUAE for a compo, but it blew badly

Unfortunatly right now the Amigas are packed away again as the space the A1200 with it's external diskpacks and whatnot (plus composite monitor) take up so much room!

Impulse Tracker is ms-dos, so I guess it counts as oldschool. I'm too impatient to learn anything new and fancy after spending ten years by learning everything about IT, and I am happy with the quality that I can squeeze out of the ancient piece of uglyness.
