What kind of module is this?
« on: April 15, 2007, 02:48:26 »

Hi
I need to have this file (It's from an old game) converted to xm/mod/s3m/it. I think its some type of module, becauseyou can open it in ModPlugTracker (screen), but if you play it, its just strange noise.
Do yo know what type of module it is or can you tell me how to convert it?
would be nice =)

Here is the file:

Modplug can even open EXE files ;) That's because the original MOD format doesn't have a real header structure, so every file could theroeticly be a MOD file. But you are right, MDZ files are module filez. however, it's a zipped format, and i was able to play it using winamp. I'll have a look at your file... By the way... you have the Jazz Creation Station opened on your screenshot :P is it possible that you got that file from jazz2? ^^ are you an active j2online player? :D

EDIT: Hm, so the original file extension is LEV. i guess it's a level file :) I tried to open the file in many different way (i haxx0red it ^^) but sorry, no results here. :|

Yes, I'm an active j2online-player ;)
But the music is from Rayman, I'm doing a tleset-conversion Rayman-->JJ2 and I want the original Rayman-Music for it.
I think the file is a music-file and not a level-file, because Ive found it in the \music\-dir :P
So, can anyone else convert it?
Anyways, thanks for your efforts, jojo ;)

Sorry, I wasn't able to find any other information on the net - maybe it is a native format... You could look for "rayman music converter" or something in google :)
