another old mod with well made melodies but no author. download if you like old mods. cool with this nija huh popping in sometimes. pretty good samps for a mod this old ( I guess) small and nice, well made. worth a download
This is a simple-based 4-track MOD. However, Bjorn Lynne has been doing this stuff for a long time and is well-known for it, hence the slightly higher ratings and the pro's. Flows well, simple bass and drum lines, yet sound so well. Simple FX used on here but very-well effective. Simple samps too..why can't I think of something like this sometimes..=)

My first exposure to this song was in the early 1990's, as a very young PC user dialing up local BBS'es. A ScreamTracker demo was released for the PC platform, ported from Amiga, and this was the song included with the demo. Hearing this music, through the crappy paper speaker in my 80286 clone computer, with no sound card, was absolutely mind blowing at the time. I still remember the ANSI display of scrolling stars, to this day. Dr. Awesome deserves accolades on many fronts, but this introduction of truly amazing music to the PC/BBS world in the early 90's was truly groundbreaking and ought to be recognized for the magnitude of its impact. Still sounds great today! Rated 10-Awesome - Dr. Awesome knew it before we did.
