  "Better clean than
mean", that's what my
 old grandmother used
to tell me when I was
a little child, but my
  grandmother always
 spoke so ambiguously
 that I never really
 knew what she meant.
  Anyway, here I am:
Moscow Airport, while
 the customs officers
 are slowly examining
the cream soap for my
Russian girlfriend, I
 remember how we were
  laughing the first
time I came with soap
 as a present from my
grandfather who wrote
 a small card saying:
    "No more dirty
     Communists!"
  Too late I realize
  that smiling will
   result in a more
  thorough scrutiny
 of my poor "Pigeons"
