Overall Impression (6/10)

Well, this song has quite some repetition on the melodies as well the drums but it's balanced by some well chosen samples that make a quite solid groove. It's too bad the main idea got stretched by 6m51s hurting the listener who finds himself caught in a small part of the good groove but running like forever.

Technique, Arrangement, Composition (6/10)

Well this is a pretty straightforward four channel tracking technique, with few samples to deal, the artist took advantage and made a simple groove, effective and cool, great broken beat, although i think the beat needs some more variation. There's some quiet parts, where the beat is gone in order to make a pause, but only to repeat what was earlier with very little variation. Actually it wouldn't hurt at all if the song was only about half it's duration.

Development (4/10)

There's not much of a melodic development because it sounds like a Basement Jaxx song, at first i was thinking really that, something repetitive but with variety, but guess not. There's good intention, i think!

Creativity (5/10)

With the chosen samples i think the artist made good use of them, but more variation is needed and maybe some melodic structure, to give the song a proper start, middle and ending.

Enjoyment (5/10)

There's some replayability if you like the groove, but eventually it is going to sound tired.
