Overall Impression (6/10)

This song definitely rocks but I can't say it rules. The opening riff is real metal overdrive guitar, and the drums are quite well done. Unfortunately there's a bit of a timing issue with the two samples playing the main riff making it cut out a bit. Also the solo isn't a real face melter but it still sounds good, except that the sample kind of doesn't sound like a real guitar, and there are no bends where it seems like there should be.

Technique, Arrangement, Composition (5/10)

This is a fairly short song and there is one main pattern that is used to the point overuse. While the drums sound good and real, they never change once they're established, even for transitional purposes. The rhythm guitar changes plenty enough and sounds good throughout the song. The solo is decent but not realistic, some tone effects could probably helped this. The volume mix is adequate and the lack of panning makes it sound like a real show.

Development (5/10)

The 'melody' I guess would be the solo, which is pretty hardcore, but due to a bad sample and lack of FX stops it from living up to it's potential. The sample itself sounds real but for some reason the solo just sounds synthetic. The second part of the solo uses some good volume effects to sound like kind of like muting which is good.

Creativity (6/10)

Well there isn't much to say here, it sounds like fairly generic rock, without the vocals, but still sounds good for a mod. It's a little short but the gap between the main riff and the solo was filled with a fairly interesting palm mute.

Enjoyment (5/10)

Since it's so short and already has a lot of repetitive patterns, I wouldn't want to hear this one except for once in a while. This would be especially true if you were already listening to a bunch of other rock. But hey it sounds good for one listen.
