there's much to be
said in favour of
synthetic music in
comparison to sample
based music. just
think of the limited
memory & disk space
a synth tune requires
some people say that
"sid" tunes should
have died along with
the 64 & in a certain
sence it has, since
the amiga does not
have a "proper" sid
chip. it's much
harder to make a good
chip tune, since you
cannot rely on "fool-
proof" samples, but
has to be able to
create a real melody!
