"First Technology" Song filename: firstech.it Date : 2/26/2007 Composer : marshallh (Marshall H.) Samples : Various sources Hello there, what you are looking at is the fruit of a couple years of messing around with tracker software, namely ModPlug Tracker. I think this is somewhere around my seventh song. It is also the first one I am going to publicly release, for better or worse :P It's been a logn time in coming, and I'm glad I have gotten this far. I was chiefly inspired by the trakcer legends like Necros, Purple Motion, and Skaven, all of whom I listen to quite a bit. As far as the samples go, they were all made/sampled by some talented folks, and I basically just went through my mod collection finding just the right sample. The samples are 100% not mine. I think it's a bit short, but I was running out of ideas, some of which would work better in another song. So here it is, short but sweet. Enjoy, if you can. - Marshall http://retroactive.be Nintendo 64 Programming Resource: http://64dev.retroactive.be Mod Archive: http://modarchive.org Later all :) Really :P Go away. What are you doing here looking at this? Go outside, ride a bike, ogle some girls, get some fresh air. Ya know?

Nice trance song. The beginning is cool. The time change is a little weird, but after you listen to it enough, it's OK. This song gets heavier as you go along. I would like to see a lead of some sort, but if you put the song in the background while you are doing something, it's good. Most of the samples are 8 bit. They sound pretty good, though. I keep saying "good!"
