Overall Impression (6/10)

This is a strange chip song. Lots and lots of wacky things go on in this song. There is a lot of portamento effects on the bass and leads. It's kind of over the top for my tastes. I do like sample 13, though. It adds an industrial sound to the song.

Technique, Arrangement, Composition (7/10)

I don't really know what to say about this. The drums sound nice, but there isn't much variation. The use of portamento on sample 13 is really good. It sounds like wind when it goes low. The portamento on the rest is a bit weird. I think it should be a bit faster bending. It gets kinda crazy! There are a lot of other effects in this song that are used nicely, though.

Development (5/10)

The lead comes in a bit to abruptly for me. Some of the melodies seem to be a little too random. They don't seem to have a purpose. Parts where there aren't a ton of different melodic instruments squeezed in are the best parts. I like the part starting 1:21. It seems to be a bit less random.

Creativity (7/10)

It sounds like the artist tried to make a fairly normal chip song (I could be wrong) - but sorta failed. What he ended up making was a very original piece of music. A bit wacky and strange, however.

Enjoyment (5/10)

There isn't much major variation in this looped song, so it would get quite uninteresting after a few listens.

I bit more melodic control might be the ticket for this one. Anyways, the song is decent.
