my contribution to our
assenbly '96 demo
TOASTED

I used some drum sam-
ples from the groovy
byte cd, which is
quiete usefull, if you
want to find techno
samples.


Now follows my little
party report:
It is now 10pm on
friday and just one
hour left for the dead
line of all competi-
tions. I arrived in
Helsinki already at
wednesday together
with our coder sub-
missive. pascal and
scholar decided to
arrive one day later.
after we arrived we
moved to some nice
hotel to ensure our
bagaes were in a save
place. then we headed
to town to get some-
thing for lunch.
but as sightseeing is
nothing real interes-
ing for computer
freaks, we went to
the fair center to
have a look at the
party place and see
if we would find some-
one we know.
But unfortunatly only
four guys were in the
fair center and we
asked them for the
adress of the asm
organiying buero.
There we met Abyss,
who was welcoming us
and asked if we liked
some fistfucking. We
told him that we were
not in the mood yet.
So he invited us to
sit down and watch
some old demos, which
might be shown at the
party. Because old
are sometimes really
boring, especially if
you watched them for
about one hundred
times, we labeld the
last 500-700 voting
disks until no sti-
ckers were left. the
time progressed to
8pm and we were star-
ing again and decided
to go back to town to
get something to eat.

The next day we spent
walking around hel-
sinki and searching
for the rest of our
group, but unfortunat-
ly, we were'nt able to
find them.
As Eraser was running
in the local cinemas
and it will take some
time until the trans-
lated version will
come into german cin-
emas, we watched it.
but it wasn't the best
film arnold made.

On friday we had some
problems at first get-
ting our tickets and
our money, so we
entered the party
place around noon and
immediatly began work-
ing on the demo again.

so, that's what hap-
pend til now and the
clock now shows
22.15, so another 15
minutes have been
wasted, and I have
to draw a file_id now.
