I've been working on
this piece on and off
for about 5 months.
I began with the goal
of composing a
symphonic piece
that imitated the
style of Danny Elfman
(the composer of the
score for the film
BATMAN, among many
others).  His
style is reflected
heavily in the first
movement.  In the
second and third
movements, I wanted to
move away from a
strict imitation and
go for a more original
style.
I think that this
piece works fairly
well.  I hope you
enjoy it.
