"BUG" verse 1 "BUG" verse 2 "BUG" verse 3 "BUG" verse 4 "BUG" verse 5 "BUG" verse 6 "BUG" verse 7 "BUG" verse 8 "BUG" verse 9 "BUG" final line "BUZZ" & "BUG" by SCREAMAGER 11/12/94 ---------------------- With a constant buzz he Flies happily around the garden, without Knowledge of the enemy, who Waits in the depths of Concentration. Flying in circles, going Upside-down in the clean summer air, his Aerodynamically- shaped wings flutter so Fast they seem almost Invisible. The enemy spots the prey, and Lies still on the background of the Evergreen bush in the shadiest corner of The garden so as not to be Seen. In a frenzy of excitement the prey, foolishly, Flies over the evergreen Bush in the shadiest corner of the Garden where the enemy, unknown to the prey, Waits. Suddenly, the prey, still in a frenzy, becomes Entangled with an adhesive substance, the Dread of every one of his kind which To this day he had so cleverly Avoided. The prey, emerging from elation, realises All too late that he Has been caught in a cunningly-built Trap for his kind and others who carelessly Enter. The enemy, with precision, walks Over to the prey, the hunted, and Asks him when he would like, in The very near future, to be Eaten. The prey, stuck fast, replies "I'd Rather NEVER be eaten, thank you" as he plucks up The courage to talk, through nervous shivers, to The being in whose digestive system he could soon be Residing. The prey, the hunted, then looks around and Sees his once-friends, now mere Carcasses, rotting in the never-ending Threads of adhesive that make this cunningly-built Trap. "Eat me now," he says.
