altimeter failure (altimeter_failure.xm)

Very eerie and atmopheric ambient crossed with some small fragments of industrial breakcore-type distorted percussive samples. The title of the piece is a little unnerving aswell - it certainly depicts a sense of impending doom. It's repetative - yes, it's minimalistic - yes but somehow it actually works quite well and considering it's 5 minutes long it's a pretty good job keeping it interesting. Ambient ethereality and lowfi seem to be put to good use here too.
