CHiLL Productions Presents CHILLdrn (Of the L.E.D) Static Waves Mix By TEG bcormier_passport.ca As usual I hadn't even TOUCHED FT2 in a month when I heard the songs that make up the "LED" disk. And NOT having a song amongst the power-house lineup scared me into finally working on a song. Thanx to the various people I DCCed it to asking for advice. I knew it needed a little somethin more but I had no ideas.. and everyone one said "it's fine, leave it" I ended up adding a drum solo that sounds like "download" meets underworld. For the record that drum loop is from Download's THE EYES OF STANLEY PAIN Go buy it now,it rules The diskname sounded so cool to me so while I was working on the song for it I ended up naming my song after the disk Afterwards,I changed it a bit. After all, I didn't want people to think that I had an actual part in the making the disk. In fact my song was added afterwards, I actually DELAYED the disk a day or so. Oh well ;) I hope someone out there thinks that it was worth the wait Anyways, greets to buds b0b,DH,FA,Deus,DeFeX Quasi,InTense,JRB,Mx^3 and the rest of #CHILL nods to the dude who made the S3M for CAERO for the FSOL samples and inspiration. The first part is excellent! There are some percussion samples that aren't very good, but they are good. The second part is unexpected and the weird drum loop is too noisy. Later on, the choir is not tuned with the chords. Then comes the drum part, the composer probably ran out of ideas there. Overall, it was a great piece in the beginning, but the composer screwed it up afterwards.
