Here comes my (quite
crappy, I must admit)
house compo 2000 entry
This song was initial-
ly made for a local
birthday-party in may
1998 and finally got
touched up and entered
into the HC2k. Do not
expect something too
extraordinary as house
music is not a style
I am the most fluent
with, anyway, I know
for having tested it
that this song does
quite well on a
dancefloor !!! So it
*might* please the
HC2k jury (even if...)

I know this song is
quite...hum...
repetitive, but isn't
it what makes a good
housey song so
addictive on a dance
floor ?
In fact, I am not even
sure if I can call
this style house. I am
really lost among all
those musical sub-
divisions. Anyway,
it's a cool 'makeyou
moveondadancefloor'
styled song, so it
should fit into the
rules of the compo :-)

That weird song title
comes from the Lina
Gotta, one of my
grandmother's mother's
best friends whose
main 'hobby' was to
'Yat' (means to pull
up in alsacian) all
the nasty grass that
growed among the
plants in her fields.
So it is not
exagerated when
speaking of Lina Gotta
to speak of a real
'Yatting quest' !
And this song is
somewhat dedicated
2 her...
