Overall Impression (9/10)

It's early in the morning and I have slept like crap. Tried to watch some TV but there were only re-runs of series that I never even cared about when they were new and stupid gameshows.
Surfed onto ModArchive and randomly downloaded a tune and cooked some coffee with this tune in the background.
I must say that it was a good choice of me. This was a really nice tune to enjoy in the early morning while the sun goes up. A slow moody song.Nothing for the one that expects catchy tunes and surprises.
Just sit back and enjoy this one.......and your coffee.

Technique, Arrangement, Composition (7/10)

This tune is a bit hard to grade in this category I think. It is not a matter of technique to make a tune like this.Must say that the composition and arrangements are nice and keeps a constant flow to the music.

Development (8/10)

There is not so much melody in this song, but that is also not what it needs.
It starts with some sampled enigine sounds, running footsteps and an alarm and then it takes you directly into a trippy beat accompanied by pads and various instruments and effects. No fast solos or catchy melodies, just atmosphere.

Creativity (8/10)

As I mentioned earlier this song doesn't have any big moments that sticks out or anything. But I think that is just good for a tune like this since that could have turned more into an anti-climax.The creativity here lies in keeping the atmosphere and the composer has managed to do that through the whole song.

Enjoyment (9/10)

This is the kind of song that you can have running in the background for ages if you don't watch out. :p Since it has a constant flow and somehow has no start or end it can repeat without you even noticing.So watch out for this one.It might cost you several hours of missing other good songs.

Additional Comment

Maybe a coincidence......would I have appreciated this song as much if I had heard it 3 in the afternoon after coming home from work?
I think we'll ever know.
