Absolutely astonishing. Great writing, sounds great and I enjoy it after a long time and many times listening to it. First heard it on his album Era's end and thought it was a cubase creation, which it might actually be on the album, however this sounds just as great.

This music has really nice melodies, a very great piano work and great samples. I like this music very much - absolutely recommend.

This song has been in progress for more than a year.... it started right after the release of Necros' "Orchard Street", where the first twenty or so patterns were conceived. Afterwards it was left in dust and forgotten until recently when I, with Sirrus (Bryan Rudge) started gathering songs for Stein's sequel to Stage 9. Needless to say over that year or so that this song was left in storage, a lot changed about me musically. I started doing game music, getting more CDs, keeping myself listening, studying, reading up on technology, and furthering and deepening my interest in the art I have always loved and aspired to become a professional at. The listener might be able to tell exactly where I finished the song up since it does go through many phases and doesn't necessarily follow the strict lyric - chorus - lyric form, but the lesson for that I have learned and will pass on in releasing it to others is that you can find new life in your old work, and when you love the art you may find yourself laboring at sometimes, fresh ideas will come to you, always. This song is dedicated to three people... the first being Bruce Hornsby, an inspiration and consumate pianist and composer, the second being Necros, without whose original piece (and samples! haha) got this thing started, and lastly, to Bryan Rudge, aka Sirrus, who added some outstanding finishing touches to this piece and who has served as a trusted friend and colleague for the last 5 years of my life. I agree, this doesn't lack much in comparison to the Era's End version. Great track.
