Wow, what a fantasic music!!!
Absolutely great idea, melody, backgound, bass line, drums, .... and so on. Listen to this music and you will get into another world. So much influence of different music styles in one music - only great. I think this music is more than a 9+ - it's almost 11. Thank you for this fantastic track!!!

Jogeir's influences are obvious here. Nevertheless, great, complex tune. Outstanding sound. 9+

Anyone who's going to vote this with less than 10 must have lost it - What we have here is one of the most perfect pieces of music ever written in a tracker. 12 minutes of high fidelity tracking work - Words are not enough to describe this. You just have to see and listen for yourself - it's definitely worth it.
(PS: Don't even think about opening it in MilkyTracker or any other XM tracker).

Ultima Ratio Composed and Arranged by Nebularia This one was definitely the most serious work of mine when finished (now I've found a couple of controversial harmonic solutions that sound quite irritating to my ear!). It has influences (I hope not too clearly) from Jogeir Liljedahl, Bjorn Lynne and Vangelis, but also from Kenny G and even Queen. I guess I spent about 100 working hours (about 3 months) with this one. This tune uses IT resonant filtering so you'll need an MMX system to get a correct output. Also, it uses a *LARGE* amount of channels and I recommend you have at least 130 channels available. Otherwise you might want to use the disk writer device. Also, PLEASE avoid using external IT players with this module! The only external IT player that produces an acceptable output is XMPlay, although it's not perfect, either. I only tested XMPlay 1.7 (noticeably different but not annoying) since the channel limit of 96 in ModPlug Player is too low, anyway. Although XMPlay does the job pretty well, I highly recommend that you stick with Impulse Tracker 2.14p5. I squeezed the file size of this module about 60% of the original! I hope I managed to retain decent sound quality. ------------------------------- Samples from Sweetwater's K2000 Sounds Archive (http://www.sweetwater.com/k2000/sounds.html), MAZ (http://www.maz-sound.com/), Soundwave (http://tilt.largo.fl.us/samples/samples.html), myself and some unknown sources (sorry for the missing credits). ------------------------------- Copyright: This composition is (C) 2000 Tomi Jylhä-Ollila.
