Lord of Morning - Prince of Dawn The Storm Gathers Still known as the Prince of Dawn, Lews Therin Telamon made a difficult decision. The Shadow was Rising and the leader of the world needed to stop it. His bold plan was not accepted without internal conflict. He gathered his faction and moved. The attempt saved the known world, but not without a price. Shadow's counterstrike against the hunder companions of the Prince of Dawn didn't just render them mad, but all the male channelers in the world. For though did the Lord of Morning save the world, he also destroyed it. For that, he was to be known by another name. A name dreaded and hated. The Dragon. Inspired by Robert Jordan's the Wheel of Time. Published by TOR books. Get the Eye of the World now! ─── Modern chording in D-Minor and few final patterns in D Sharp Minor. The rythm is 6/8. This time I use more aggressive percussion than usually, because I finally created drum samples worth of using :) This song was made quickly after my previous song, Tar Valon at Dawn, which sounded all right but lacked structure. This song is made with a better inspiration and more beforehand planning. Created in three sessions: Sampling : 5 hours Composing : 5 hours Tracking and orchestration : 2 hours Greetings (Alphabetical): Karl Jenkins I doubt you'll read this, but thanks for the music anyway. My songs are getting way too big, maybe I should reduce the samples.. But even 22kHz doesn't seem to be enough. Really smooth, beautiful, harmonious musical arrangements are doing service to a tune which sounds like a magnificent adventure score.
Synths, pianos, guitars and drums are doing their very best here.
The sound is pleasantly synthwave'ish at times when the synth dominates more, and also I like especially when the very softly crying synth/guitar chorus sets in.
Wonderful musical job.
