.distress call. there's something special about the early 16-bit sound which was a signature component of the amiga series, pc hardware during the early 90s, and certain super nintendo/mega drive soundtracks. 8-bit music is making a resurgence, but module music doesn't seem to be getting the same attention, which is a shame - trackers are surprisingly addictive and intuitive to work with. i wanted to see if i could capture the spirit of the entire spectrum of the 16-bit era with roughly 1993/1994-quality sound, and i ended up making this in one take - with the much-appreciated help of ludicrous amounts of coffee. /railfist, 2013/
