I think your enjoyment of this track is going to depend heavily on how you feel about that main synth lead. It's big and aggressive, and to my ear it wants to be part of a much thicker texture. The other voices don't feel quite up to the task of supporting it. The sections that don't use it feel much better-balanced, but lack motion and finesse.
