in the forge (compromise) by:SoundGod process five/torrent length: 4:20 For use in Stein's "Return to Stage 9" music disc. Thanks a ton Stein, you rock! Thanks to: stein, beek, radix, loonie, caramel, lemm Greets to: process five, 3no, mikpos, garlick, hunz, stereoman, torrent, husanak, dennisc, tom, human, mild, jeremy, maelcum, psykosi, you. Condolences to: All those who whitnessed the vicious process which we call, euphemistically, a "compromise." This song peaks at 49 channels. If you can't handle that, we suggest you go into the lute instrument (2), set it to "note cut" and disable the duplicate note stuff. You can always shut off interpolation, but try not to if you can help it. Also, this is the mostly-8-bit version. 16 bit version available, but only by request. Many have asked why the song carries a second title: Durring the tracking of this song Evan was extremely malicious and forced Chris to deviate from his comfortable niche in music. This song was a compromise of Chris's musical style, and of Evan's original conception of the piece. We hope that the sacrifices we've made have produced a greater sound than would have been originally possible. Well, did it work? I find this piece to be an excellent ambient funk track. True to the title, it wants whoever is "In the Forge" to approach it carefully and marvel at the work being done. The echoing piano hits and the trickling sound of what I assume to be molten metal really bring things together. All around, it is absolutely fantastic!
