----------------------------------------------------------------------- ======================================================================= -T- -H- -E- -C- -L- -I- -P- -P- -I- -N- -G- -H- -E- -L- -L- by Jan Getmanèuk AKA j-61m ~2012/6~ ======================================================================= ----------------------------------------------------------------------- SONG INFORMATION: MODULE INFORMATION: ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Genre: Hardcore BPM: 180 (0xB2) Length: 3:45 Orders: 48 (0x30) Codenamed: Hard Gore Patterns: 20 (0x14) Date: from 2012-6-09 Samples: 12 (0x0C) to 2012-6-27 Channels: 9 (0x09) Made in: Czech Republic Format: OpenMPT 1.20.01 IT This is an experimental song, where I played with some sounds from FL Studio. I made them +60 db, so they sound like they were made for chiptune. This song is something between hardcore and chiptune, because of too much square-like samples. For this experiment I had to do it in OpenMPT, because FL Studio with its interpolations, floating point processing etc. would ruin the sound. Yes, this is too much repetitive, the part order is: intro, main theme, break, main theme, clipped organ solo, main theme, break, main theme, break, outro. I was too lazy to make other patterns. In FL Studio it's easier, first you made tons of patterns, then mix it up in playlist. In OpenMPT, you have to make one pattern longer, but you can have more effects without external plugins, and mainly, for free! And in case you were wondering about the sound quality, think about those kids with those iPhones and it's speakers ... listening to 128kbps MP3s ... which are brickwalled so much that the waveform looks like a rectangle ... Oops, I totally forgot to put there some stereo panning, but it sounds good enough to me. By the way, for samples I used NGWave 4.4. It was a good tool, not so much overpriced, but the company what created it isn't reachable and is even selling or has sold ngwave.com, possibly because the program became the hit of the warez forums and New Generation Software got bankrupt, because no-one (including me) wanted to pay 30 dollars for an audio editor which could be substituted by open-source Audacity, which costs absolutely nothing ... That was too many unneeded information, now listen to the song instead.
