Catchy and melodic, but it does seem to be a little too busy, like it's trying too hard. Maybe the result of compressing an ohc into a few minutes? A little better mixing, putting more of the busy stuff into the background would have helped there. But I really like the contrast of the transition section, and when it comes out of the transition it seems to work a little better, taking the listener into not-quite-so-expected territory.
