Mortal Kombat est loin d’être un jeu dont j’étais grand fan, non pas pour son extême violence face à Street Fighter II que lui préférais. Il faut bien admettre que jamais mes parents ne m’auraient laissé jouer à un tel jeu, ou le sang gicle à flot et ou comble du vice, il faut achever son adversaire d’une super Fatality ! Non, ce que je n’aimais pas trop dans Mortal Kombat, c’est surtout les coups spéciaux bien difficile à mémoriser que ceux de Street Figther… Ceci dit, il faut bien admettre que sur la console Megadrive de SEGA, c’était le meilleur jeu de combat !!! Ce qui explique que j’y ai beaucoup jouer chez Greg & Joe mes voisins.
commentaires d’époque : Voici le remix de Mortal Kombat réalisé par… non pas Liu Kang, ni Raiden… Encore moins Scorpion et Johnny Cage… pas plus de Meelena de Jack ou de Shang, il s’agit bien d’un remix de Cyborg Jeff !!
Vous me direz… de toi !!??, … c’est vrai que je déteste les jeux violents (ah bon ??) pas à cause du sang… ce ne sont que des pixels rouges, mais je n’aime pas l’esprit ! Combattre, frapper, tuer tout le monde… Dans Doom, on détruit de l’Alien au flingue… mais ici on tue des humains avec ses mains… Fatality, Flawless victory… et demain, simulateur de génocide au Rwanda ?
J’ai lu dans un magasine qu’un équipe de développement aux Etats Unis avait conçu un jeu de shoot qui se passe dans une école… Il faut tuer les enfants… et dans la tête pour plus de point !!! Honteux !! Après on s’étonne du monde dans lequel on vit ! Et c’est cela que je veux dénoncer !
Il faut bien admettre qu’entre temps… les tueries dans le monde du jeux vidéo n’ont fait que de croitre et d’être plus réalistes… Même s’il faut un peu plus relativiser… Ce n’est plus un Mortal Kombat qui donnerait de mauvaises idées au jeunes… et moins jeunes.
I’ve just found the digitalized voices from my PC version of Mortal Kombat II, the fight games of Acclaim and then I would like to write a techno song with it.
Mortal Kombat is not a game i am realy a fan. Not especially for it extreme violence compare to Street Fighter II that i prefer. As if I should admit that my parents was not agree I played it at home, but more that I find it was too hard to memorize button combinaison for special actions. Anyway, it was the best fighting game on the SEGA Genesis, that’s my played a lot with my neightboors.
Anyway, at that time, in 1996, I was not proud to write such techno mix. I was anxious about the violence in video game, as if I would like to play those game like Duke Nukem or Carmageddon.. - cyborg jeff
