Nice mod! I like the double bass. Good job keeping it under 8KB, this could fit well in an amiga demo intro of some sort. One problem is that after the melody is done playing, you can hear the last note faintly still being played until it plays again. I can't remember if .MOD supports ^^ (note cut), but you should have put a note cut there to prevent that. Otherwise, good job!
