thank you for comment! i replied to your comment but i'll break it down to get the gist.
1) (Nice reinterpretation and the melodies felt great, pleasant and meaningful.) the original song was major but i decided to make it minor. the melodies didn't use flats or sharps and were just okay. i'll tell you a secret, i added a diminished chord to this song. it's part of the scale so i think it was the right decision.
2) (It's a bit repetitive, ... Try shortening the phrases to 2 patterns instead of 4.) i made the same mistake again! no, maybe it can be fixed somehow but damn how? i'll try to fix it at my next songs.
3) (It's sometimes a bit jarring, you still need to work on your harmony, but you're getting much better!) what do you "jarring" mean? chiptune is chiptune for a reason, it can have annoying samples, but i didn't encounter anything like that here. or did i misunderstand you? and yes, thanks for saying that it's getting better. my stupidest mistake was the incorrect use of harmony and chord progression in general, but i got how it should be done correctly and understood the essence of scales.
4) (The meows at the end of the song were also weird.) it was Petya... Petya never was weird!

It's a bit repetitive, you don't really need to repeat each melody 4 times with a change in the 2nd pattern and a resolve in the 4th. I mean, I got used to it because you make all songs like that, but it's a bit too much. Try shortening the phrases to 2 patterns instead of 4. This song is pretty good! It's mixed well, and I also like how the arpeggios from channel 3 work with channel 4, the ending is the most beautiful out of all and ends off the song really well, in my opinion the cat meows work pretty well over here and is a great addition, especially given the backstory to this song. This is truly a great tribute to your cats. o7
