Since June 10th marked 10 years since I started making music, I knew I had to cover one of my favorite MCR songs; having made
my first real song on June 17th, 2015, and dedicating it to my father, who passed away from cancer on February 14th that same
year, this song was what I listened to nonstop. I did try to make a cover of Cancer before, a long time ago (2016 or 2017?),
but it fell through and I scrapped it.
I revisited MCR again this year and listened to Cancer again for the first time in nearly 8 years. And since I'm much more
experienced with OpenMPT now compared to when I started out 10 years ago, I threw together this thing, in a single pattern,
in about an hour and a half. It's not very long, but I like listening to it on loop at a low volume when I sleep.
