Platonist Forest of Hysteria Remix org: the legend of zelda: link's awakening ost - mysterious forest sep 2007 Style: idfk Duration: 6:12 Samples: Raw-data samples, Vengeance, Future & Unknown Made in: Schism Tracker Tempo: 85 / 170 BPM Why: It goes Foom! Greeets fly out to: Reunion, Subco, OC-R, the Scene! peace out plato ^ reunion TMA 2025 Notes: * This was my first OC ReMix. It garnered some controversy and some people accused me of being "friends with djp"! Lmao, really salty community over there. If it's not jazz it's bad, I guess. Either way, this was based on the sample pack for Noise-Pass Control, and in a way an extension of that Mini-album, with some extra datasems thrown in there. As you might know if you've been following my uploads recently, it's very noisy on very purpose. TBF, it does have some annoying summing going on. *shrug* * Fixed vol/pan swing bugs & edited for loopability * The OC ReMix version was exported without interpolation with noise reduction on, it sounds fine with interpolation & without imo, depends on how noise tolerant you are, I guess. Pick & Choose! Cheers!

(note: I don't know the original tune) I love how the intensity builds right up to the finish, which is just suberb in it's climactic chaos. Like the part about 55% in when it quiets and the piano hits, nice chords and break from the madness. Don't know the game either, but feels like I'm running through a strange forest being chased by killer goblins or huge sprites. Good example that all should follow IMHO: keep the bass and any heavy percussion in the middle. Anything else can go anywhere, which you have again done very well. Full sound in terms of bass/mid/treb and left/center/right. All your songs, in my opinion follow that perfect balance with alot of depth, which makes it so much more enjoyable as the listener.
