It's starts in an abrupt way, but good: good bassline, on an "exciting" drum sequence. So the strings comes. They look likes good at the first hearing, but they are outuned with the rest of the samples. Later on, when we can hear the full seuquence, we can clearly hear that all the artist didn't took the time to "finetune" his song: they all sound just a bit outtuned of course, and some are just uncleaned. If he had worked a little bit more on that song, it would sound better, believe me. But still it's better than other sort of trance that I heared before. Wasn't very hard to track, since trance/techno is essentially one thing: cut/paste notes. Sadly that's a reality on the trance-tracking scene: most are doing variations on a song simply by taking the full sequence, duplicating it and editing them only by using cutting and pasting. My advice to all trance trackers: go FURTHER! That's the main idea and the overall thought about this track: it is too repetitive, and uses too much the same variations over and over. By theré s a way to improve and I believe you can do it. -- DJ Bourg
