At the starting, this song has a kind of darkish ambiance: the strings are playing that kind of dark/undergroundish melody that we can usually find in a good dark ambient dance song. The beat was faster than any other old-skool techno song I've heard, which is quite interesting to see. It was rather repetitive, that spoils a little bit the overall feeling, because this song would have been much better if there were more than one melody sequence. Although this is very short (2 minutes), some variation in drum and bass sequence would have been very nice to that song. I have no idea of the accurate oldness of that mod file, but as it is a Pro Tracker file it should be a bit old. The style though is more "recent" (ambient dance/techno), so I suppose it has been made around 1992. It has not less than 24 samples, and has obviously 4 channels. It uses some nice vocal & FX effects, but besides that point, there's nothing really catchy in that tune. That may be enjoyable for a while but that's not something that you might keep except if you really like old-skool dance tunes. -- DJ Bourg
