ANGEL MECH: THEME OF THE GUARDIAN

Yes, its true! This was my FIRST original composition
on the 4-channel Pro Tracker.Its been a long time now,
about 4 years since the conception of this song, and I
finally decided to let it rip on more channels.
Basically this music focuses around the Contra series
(the Konami shooter). I loved the game when I was a
kid and I thought, wouldn't it be cool if there was a real
huge Mech boss we had to fight at the end of a level with
this music in the background? Hence, this song was created!
Please take notice that this music has NOT appeared in ANY
Contra game or any other shooter for than matter. It is NOT
a remix of any other song and its supposed to 100% original.
A lot of time and effort has gone into the creation of this
song so enjoy it to the fullest.
This is also the first time that I've created samples of my
own. Some of them have been taken from various mods (sorry
about that), but please feel free to use my samples in your
songs. The samples in CAPS can be used freely and you have
my permission :).
In the end, I'd like to thank two great guys who actually
encouraged me to make more mods:
Nightbeat, nightbeat_hotmail.com, a great guy and excellent
composer. In my opinion, he's the best to date and his style of
tracking really kicks ass! (I tend to emulate him sometimes..)
Sheraz Batta, a very close friend who is a genius when it
comes to classical eastern melodies and movie soundtracks.
Batta + Keyboard + Mixer = Unbeatable compostion :)

This tune is quite well constructed with many original ideas incorporated with some good synth. Unfortunately some of the synth is a little over the top on the squeaky whingy side of things, and ruins an otherwise excellent tune. Also, some of the more 'hardcore' parts of the song aren't too well sequenced, but overall not a bad tune. Some time has been put into the creation of this tune. Unfortunately for the tune some of the samples are pitched incorrectly and are too loud for the tune. Some of the instruments sound a bit muddy and the occasional click or pop distracts from the tune. Some of the beats are really well sampled with the kickdrum at the start sounding particularly impressive. However the lead guitar doesn't sound very good. Approx time 4:30
