"Anencephaly" All music and samples are Copyright(C) Zack Ohren 1-28-96 This song was never meant to be released but after I put it on my album, I got over 30 requests for it. Let me stress, this is NOT really a mod. Its simply a song mixed with a computer. That is why it is enourmous in comparison to other MODs. All the guitars are entire riffs recorded at 22Khz, including the solos. Oh well, if you want some real mods by me, make sure to get: Anarchist's Surprize Master Of Em' All Laceration of my Soul and all the songs at http://home.aol .com/ZackmanO Hasta La Pasta, Zack Ohren ZackmanO_aol.com (Thats Oh, not zero) RIFF1-1.SND RIFF1-2.SND E.SND RIFF2.SND 8PME.SND GFE.SND A#.SND RIFF3.SND RIFF41.SND RIFF42-1.SND RIFF42-2.SND REVERSE CYMBOL LEAD.SND SLAPBASS.SND BASS DRUM SNARE RIDE CYMBOL MEDIUM HI HAT(OPEN) FLOOR TOM HI HAT(CLOSED) TOM DRY TOM CRASH CYMBOL RIFF5.SND Solo1.snd Solo2.snd Solo3.snd Solo4.snd

Well, I can deduct two things from this piece...#1.The artist is a Slayer fan, and #2. He/She can play a mean thrash metal guitar. I think one of the challenges that eludes most trackers is the ability to produce songs with electric guitar samples that don't sound like someone's $100 Toys R Us Casio special. This song has real guitar samples recorded presumably by the artist him/herself put together in a wicked, in-your-face, shit your pants, fast and furious thrash tune ala Slayer,Testament, Exodus etc. Complete with Mustaine-Style guitar solo and voila! A very good song by an anonymous person, who I suspect, at one time or another had very long hair. Kudos! Major marks here for the DIY guitar samples. Quite impressive to put this piece together as smoothly as such given the complicated design of the song vs. song samples. Excellent work!
