This Bolthar dude is an Italian composer. Pretty new in business I guess or at least this song gives that kind of image.=) Very different song, but it also sounds pretty amateurish... I'm not so sure about the classification, but maybe that goes near enough.=) The song begins with bass and drums. Bassline is pretty slow but when the drums really start to roll, they roll with the speed of deathmetal. Sounds pretty weird so far. Then the "leadguitar" comes along and plays one solo and then the song loops to the beginning. The song lenght is only 1.23 which explains the short description of this tune.=) Bassline was very simple and didn't made any kind of reaction, it just was there. Drums were so unusual that those gave a nice feeling of boldness, but since it wasn't tracked so well, it lost its meaning. Guitar solo was also pretty simple but sounded quite good maybe because of the fact that everything else was so... lame? I don't know, this song did not impress me in anyway. But maybe Bolthar's other songs are good? Who knows, maybe it should be checked out... Yeah... Tracking was very simple in everyway except maybe for that guitarsolo. Samples were mostly 16-bit samples, but that fact doesn't save this song. It might sound better now than an 8-bit version, but the song won't get better from that. Use of effects was pretty minor since only few effects were used and those were slides in guitartrack.
