This nice synthpop tune was included with the imago orpheus tracker. It's really nice indeed, especially the sample quality is very good for this time. Okay, the track is a bit slow, but the great chords and melodies are fantastic!

Jarre comes to my mind when listening to this, very old synthetic sounds from the 80's, good progression in the melodies and accompinant, which make this module stand out as one of those that you should have because the quality is there. It's not too heavy on the direction but still there are moments of clarity which are outstanding. It's a fade out ending that doesn't do the song justice, though... however, grab this if you're a retro synthpop junkie ;)

This song is an excellent specimen of new age music, which uses broad, sweeping synths to evoke a feeling of drifting or flying. This is a mellow song, and has easy transitions into different melodies while keeping the same undertone. If you like this song, definitely check out Leaving All Behind (another Karsten song). It's only drawback is that it not an extraordinary melody (imho), but Karsten's professionalism would make any song worth listening to. Karsten's expertise is shown to the fullest extent in this song, via his ability to seamlessly integrate beautiful sounding instruments and orchestrate them to make a song sound the way it was meant to. To put this song into perspective, I would say that Karsten's songwriting skills are up there with the likes of Necros and Jogeir Liljedahl, and his orchestration skills are only matched by the occasional gem, such as Sunshine of the Morning Sun by Area51, or Nimbus by Per Westerberg.

Majestic and cosmic in theme, carefully-crafted and file-smushed in these samples, this is yet another great listen from a tracked music veteran (maybe?).
