This is a pretty decent song which almost sounds experimental because of some of the things the artist is doing. It's got a pretty standard beat and a good trance feel, mixed in with a Europop/dance feeling as well. The thing that really bugs me about this piece is just about halfway through the song, when a soft synth voice comes in; the artist is sliding the pitch all over the place; often producing some quarter tones in the process. In a way, it adds a strange ambeince to this track. Other than that, the music is pretty straightforward; the sections do fit together, but some of the drum samples seem to be hindering the track from really taking off. Technically, the tracking is basic. The artist uses minimal effects (mainly volume to create the pulsing synths) and the portas to slide the pitch of the synth voice around. Upon examining this section, there are no "porta-to" notes at all; the artist has manipulated the pitch by using only up and down portas. While this is somewhat interesting to see, it creates some minor tuning issues within the track which distract the listener. The samples are all pretty decent, but loop points need some work. The instruments, however, contain some good volume envelopes. Overall, a pretty decent track that, with some work, would be really good.
