I've never made a cover song before...

I knew this was a good song, then I
got the guitar tab from the net
(I had the melody on my mind)
and there was I tracking a cover version
of the Beatles' 'In My Life'.
This is not trying to be an exact
copy of the 60's hit, but an effort
to bring something new to this great
pop masterpiece. Basslines are re-newed
because I just can't remember them.
(McCartney was a good bassist though)

This is also shorter than
the original, but there would be no
point playing the same stuff all and
all over again.
