Many years ago, before I even had a guitar
and Sir Bill effing Gates was pooping in
his diapers, I read The Lord of the Rings.
Eventually I set most of the songs to music.
Since I absolutely abhor musical notation,
the only way I can expose my work to the
world is -- well, you downloaded it, didn't
you? Yaaaaahhhhhhhh, sucker! :p

While I was at it, I not only got the melody
in here, but tried to write some kind of a
frikkin' tone poem or something. It's a tragic
love story, lots of room for grandiose crud.
Anyway, it has served the purpose of totally
obsessing me for a while... Novus said bass,
bass, bass -- well, I put a little in. It's
the harp that made it work.
I threw in my "Mithrandir" theme for good
measure. That's the faint tune in the
beginning and it comes in once more

Anyhoo, here it is... perhaps not for the
last time, but I've busted butt long enuf.
