Done By LittleElk -98 Time:-6:24- Ver.:-1.00- Full Title: 'Legend of Chip, Part I - Road To Babylon' Well, This Is My First Attempt At A Chip Tune... ThanX To Phoenix For Providing Me Both With The Idea And Also The Samples. He Said It Would Be A Challenge, But This Wasn't So Hard... :P I've Worked Alot On This Tune Though, Experimenting With The Instruments And Made An Effort With The Panning. I Really Hope You People Like It! Go Ahead And Use My Instruments... Some Parts Are Very Nintendo-Like And Some Parts Sound Like Old .mods... I Had So Much Fun With This Song, So I'll Most Certainly Write More Chips. Hence The Title... The Pace Is A Bit Faster Than What I Am Used To Tho, But I Don't Think It Turned Out So Bad. Find My WorX At MA And TiS. Greets Go Out To My Countless IRC Buddies. A Special Greet To Phoenix! I Hope You Like This One, And Do You Think You Can Recognize All of Your Samples? ;) I'd Also Want Thank Everybody That Has Listened My Music This Las Year And Given Such Positive Feedback, And An Exceptionally Big Thanx To Those That Have Been So Bold As To Give Me Constructive Critics(Especially My Mom;) ) And A Happy New Year To You All! -Page Down- Some Comments: -The Idea To Use The Samples Like I've Done Here, Was Taken From Skaven's 4th Symmetriad. -It Wasn't Until The End I Thought of Using A Guitar. It May Not Be Much, But It's A Guitar :) -I Was Tempted To Create The Percussion Using Some of The Other Samples -Toying With The Pitch Envelope Is Insanely Funny! -Everyone Should Do A Chip Tune! -I Have Named The Instruments As Best I Could... -The Electric Flute With Vibrato Sounds Exactly Like My Friend's Electric Organ, But It Could Be An Oboe... :P -Pressing Ctrl-T In Shift-F9 When You Have ITFonts Is Cool. -The Name For This Song Is Lame, But Not Too Lame... -This Is The First Time I Have Ever Touched The Pitch Envelopes. -Toying With The Pitch Envelope Is Insanely Funny! -The Electric Guitar, Chamber Strings And The Flute(Possibly A Recorder) Are The Best Instruments Here. -This Type of Music Is Not My Style. -I Do Not Use A Mouse When Making Volume/Panning/Pitch Envelopes. -If You Use These Samples/Instruments, Credit Me For The Instruments Not For The Samples (I Hope You Know The Difference) -The Piano Is My Favourite Sample. In My Next Chip There Will Be One... (I Hope) -This Song Could Have Been A Lot Longer. -In Norway You Can Get Jailed For Giving Your Children Weird Names... -I Didn't Use All The Instruments. -I Wonder Where Phoenix Got These Samples From... -How Could An Electric Guitar And A SlowSynthString Be The Same Sample? And If They Really Are... Can They Both Be Used At The Same Time? -There Are 13 Samples And 23 Instruments In This Song. -I Sat Up Till Seven In The Morning Writing This Song. -Most of The Filesize Comes From Large Amounts of TeXt.
