i greet and give thanks
to all you musicians in
the mod scene, you guys
(and girls) sometimes do
such cool sounds...
such cool samples...
such cool feelings...
Even today, i'm kind off
surprised...there's so
much support, incentive
to the new ones... we're
definitely a community.
I'm sure we're going to
keep this, the way it is.
FREE! Sometimes i laugh
while i listen to my
first mods, they are so
bad, but i like them
you know, more than
anything... It's my own
work, ok, with some
glitches of course from
other authors, but we all
had to learn with the
help all this musicians
...or maybe all alone
like some pioneers in
mod format... I know that
some guys are giving up
because of the state of
the scene... I think the
scene is spreading too
fast to the eyes of the
outer world, in a not so
organized way. But what
the hellm we must fight
for that organization
and never give up. Let's
all be friends...Anyway..

Blasa offers us a quite trippy, industrial yet philosophical view of MOD music. Mixed with a chippy distorted bass are all kinds of weird samples and sequences, contrasting each other. Thrilling, yet the warm beat flattens a lot of harshness again. Blasa's technique in this song is quite oldskool on purpose... few channels and a play with "original" MOD effects like arpeggio and retrigger.
