The song in itself is based on the dark stirngs that starts already from the beggining, They are not so bad, but still I like the mood that it is producing during all the song. The author put into the song a sliding effect, done with a normal dance hi-hat. I never saw that kind of effect used with an hi-hta, which is a oriignal idea. The song really starts at about 2:10 with a first real bass melody that we can hear from this point. And so progressively more melodic elements get in the song, as many electronic effects. But near the end, the song is getting once again like at the beggining, with only the dark strings playing. Some nice effects have been used in there, but sadly most of them are concentrated on the second minute and the first half of the third minute, and not everywhere else. The samples in general are in a good quality, which is benefic in the overall sounding of the song (some great ambient needs to get some real sound quality to be good, atleast that's my point of view). They are going well with the dark ambiance that the artist tried to create. Sadly most of the points flew away becuase of the structure: the intro was way too long (the dark strings playing alone with the bassline) and that's the same way with the outro. So in an overall point of sight, I'd say that the full potential of the song hasn't been used in a good way, but still sa a dark ambient song it's a terrific one! -- DJ Bourg
