Classification: Ambient/Modstyle Musical Rating: Good Short and interesting melody with nice leads but leaves too much to be desired. Feels weak, unpolished and unfinished. The leads slides in pitch in an interesting way. Good piano melodies which puts the overall song into focus. The mood is cold and sad. The violas are very effective. The drums are well improviced. The voilins clips and sound unnatural when listened to closelly. Technical Rating: Amateur Interesting use of Glissando (Tone Portamento) on the leads. Well balanced volume. The pannings are completelly mono which makes the melody pretty bland. Clever use of global volume down. The song mainly consists of a piano, a bassdrum, a snare, a strange viola lead and a violin. The violin loops very unnaturally. Add a bidi-loop so it won't sort of click and jump. By removing almost mute parts (which you don't hear in any case while doing full playback) of samples, e.g. the mute echo of sample 3, you could have decreased the file size with 15% and keep the same quality. Try to find better samples and make your songs longer if you can. This one was simply too short. //Eagle
