Le projet d’album Chitpunes “HTML Quest” est presque terminé et j’ai même déjà distribué quelques éditions de Noël sous le sapin.

Et en parlant de Noël, une fois madame retourné à l’école, voilà que je me sens inspiré à continuer un petit module laisser à l’abandon pour un projet de mini jeu de Noël sur lequel le frangin pour se plonger d’ici l’année prochaine ?

Un petit jeu tout simple, dans la lignée des Game&Watch de Nintendo, ces petits jeux électroniques qui faisaient fureur dans la cours de récré à la fin des années 80… Un petit Père Noël qui doit rattraper dans sa hotte les cadeaux que lui lancent des lutins depuis son atelier… Pas plus compliqué que Parachute.

Emballé en une petite heure, la sympathique musique repose sur d’excellent sons chiptunes d’un module d’Andromeda. L’introduction, elle était en réalité mon projet démarré avant les fêtes, inspirés d’un pastiche d’une chanson des Gauff’ aux suc’s sur le thème de l’école que nous chantions avec ma petite dame….

Le frangin réalisera quelques petits sprites dans Delux Paint, et l’idée restera là quelques années, avant que je ne la ressorte du tiroir pour un projet de Serious Game de Noël réalisé avec mes collègues Olivier Borsu, Vincent Martin et Laurent Linotte du LabSET en 2007

Bref, salutation de l’époque à Codasm, Piek, Tbob and my lovely Athena.

Quant au petit Père Noël tout en Pixel de PypeBros, comme il nous le rappelle, aurait pu avoir droit à une seconde vie dans un projet “Santa Dangerous” en homebrew sur la Nintendo DS !

And speaking of Christmas, once the missus is back at school, I feel inspired to continue a little module I left behind for a Christmas mini-game project that the brother will be working on by next year?

A simple little game, in the tradition of Nintendo’s Game&Watch, those little electronic games that were all the rage in the playground at the end of the 80s… A little Father Christmas who has to catch the gifts thrown to him by elves from his workshop… No more complicated than Parachute.

Packed into a short hour, the friendly music relies on excellent chiptune sounds from an Andromeda module. The introduction was actually my project started before the holidays, inspired by a pastiche of a school-themed Gauff’ song that my little lady and I were singing….
