These old songs really had potential, but due to the poor audio systems at the time, not many people enjoyed them. I remixed it with an upbeat tempo and some hard drums....I think it sounds much better this way ;> Hope you like it. The first of many Final Fantasy reviews I'll get to do... I decided to rewrite every last review The Shadow did. Not beacuse every review was so bad, but more because it seemed like he was already tired of FF songs even before his first FF review, and also because The Shadow and I have different standards when it comes to reviewing. But enough of this babbling. This song is far too short. Most FF songs are looped when you play the games, so an outright conversion from the SNES or NES doesn't sound all too good since the songs cut right off when they're finished. But musically it's a great composition(although I can't give the artist a great plus for that since he didn't write it), but this remix has changed some from the original. Some upbeat drums has been added. Instead of the good old NES samples there are some mediocre samples here. Some of the samples aren't too bad, but as a set they don't really blend well together. I don't think I've heard the original of this though so I'm not gonna pass comment on the notes and re-arrangement, except just to say that it sounds good. The fact that this song is so short really pulls down the score though. Since he was remixing it with better samples I think that he should have at least given the song a proper ending.
