This is my first song created entirely on ModPlug Tracker.It took me quite a
while to get used to it..but once I did,it really sped up my tracking with
the help of the mouse and easier cut and paste funtions.
Impulse tracker is a great program(got me to change from making S3Ms to making
ITs), but since MPtracker is windows based, it has an easier and faster
interface and functions.Also, I don't know if its my PC or what, but I get
better playback quality on MPtracker than on IT.
Try listening to this on a big stereo system and you'll hear the difference.
I connected my PC to my 1500watt stereo system and it sounds awsome!

Ok, so you might say I'm
a retro-tracker since I'm
still making these old
FF songs....
Well the thing is that I
never played FF2 until
now! I went through 1-3-7
and 8demo...but never
played 2!
Now I started playing it
on my PC with an emulator
..and its pretty damn
good. This is one of the
songs I liked the most,
but there are some other
good ones like Rosa's
theme.
I actually started on her
song even before this one
and before playing the
game, by listening to a
midi file of it...but I
left it about half way
done and never finished
it. I will work on it
next.

Winamp has some serious problems with this song, so use ModPlug Player or something similar. It's a nice, upbeat song that is nothing like Cid's theme, but the drumbeat is similar. It's a nice song that does remind me of Final Fantasy. Some great samples here, clear and well used. It keeps a beat and does some neat stereo things with the drums and symbals, unfortunately at position 8 it hangs and doesn't continue in WinAMP. When played with a REAL MOD player hwever, it works correctly and has some parts where the pitch goes up suddenly...watch for it.
