One of the first 'novelty' mods I ever heard... way back in the day.. Until m0d's persistant requests of this track, I didn't know it existed on modarchive, thanks to not looking, because I had it on a public domain CD I got in the mid 90's, before I had intarweb. It's insanely silly, and yes its a megasample rip... but come on! fish heads!.

Although this is kinda a mega-sample rip off of a normal song normal, like... right.... Anyway, this one has kinda become the most-requested song in the #modarchive IRC channel, mostly thanks to me. It's just... weird, and very catchy.

This song is originally done by the infamous Barnes and Barnes. I haven't heard the original but I imagine this is a pretty faithful conversion to the mod format. If you're a fan of Dr Demento, you've probably heard this already, so you'll know what to expect. If you've never heard of Dr Demento but you are a fan of Weird Al, you might like this song. Spike Milligan fans -- listen now! A lot of fun and well worth a listen. :) Oh and in case you didn't know, one half of Barnes and Barnes is Billy (Babylon 5, Lost in Space) Mumy. The song goes for 3mn09s but the last 1mn50s is the chorus repeated over and over. As I said above, I've never heard the original, so I don't know if that version finishes the same way but regardless, it's damn annoying. The samples are all mono and are presumably lifted straight from the orignal recording but they are put together very nicely. I would've given the song a 10, if it wasn't for the way it ends.
