Still amazing to this day! 2022 August.
Go out and get this guy's CD! This song is on it any others! It's great!
Super pleasant track and the usage of the cut up guitar samples is excellent, one of the best Amiga songs out there. Easily a certified classic.
I've liked this mod since it's I first heard it many years ago ... particularly the first part of it. It has a convincing use of guitar samples. Best of all, it doesn't sound anything like European dance club music ... what more do you want?
Always amazes me. I remember finding this in off1k's compilation on Youtube for the first time. I didn't know what this "Amiga" thing was. I was taken aback by the fact that this was made in only four channels and 1990s!
WOW stumbled onto this one again after many years. (Ole C64 Scener) Playing it just now took me right back to my Amiga days. Beautiful then, beautiful now. This one is for you BIG Vinny RIP mate and please send me this weeks lotto numbers.
Probably the best ever 4-chan tracked work. Even today (2021) kids are impressed when I play them that tune and show them how it has been done (using a protracker clone on PeeCee).
I can't count how many times I played that song back as a teenager, in the 90s. That track now somewhat defines that era of happy and easy life to me...
A total mind opener as to what's possible with the module music format. Genius sequencing of guitar samples and a gorgeous overall track structure. Amazing for being only 4 channels as well!
I first heard this on a Gravis Ultrasound presentation about a year ago, I really liked it, though I didn't know what it was until I found a disk online. This is one of the best modules I've ever listened to, and holds up very well even 26 years later. And to think this is only four channels. It deserves nothing less than a 10.
Ah, back when the internet was young and I downloaded this on floppy to transfer to my computer... I floated away for many repeats and hours to this and The Last Ballad.
I can't believe this song is 4-channel MOD format. Awesome acoustic guitar tune.
BEST guitar MOD I ever heard... Perfect in every way!
A true classic, its an amazing .MOD.
Best .MOD with guitars no doubt!
I remember this Mod from back in the day and loved it when I saw the name again. This has to be one of my fav's from the past.
Impressive tune! It sounds like a genuine guitar arrangement, which is not often the case with such mods.
One of the greatest mods.. by far! Great melodies, great ambience, great techniques, great everything... :) I recommend this one to everyone.
What can you say ? Pretty incredible, 4 voices only. A great music for great amiga times ! One of my favorites.
Guitar slinger. Guitar perfection. No need to say more. A true classic.
4-ch - Great composing! Great guitars, great flute, ... - everything is great. Download this music and listen to the end! Outstanding track!
truly awesome mod, and it's becoming even more awesome when you find out that such an amazing sound is produced by (!!) a tiny 4 channel mod!!!
This is a classic. Great guitars and flute along with some ambient chords in the background. The part at the end with electric guitar is really nice. If you like ambient soft rock (like I do) then download this NOW! 9.5
WOW! what an amazing module (especially for 1992/93 on an Amiga!)...normally I don't like modules with guitars in them because they just don't sound convincing to me with cheezy pitch bends applied to a sustained, overdriven sample. This module actually sounds like someone who can play guitar well or at least found someone who knew how to play guitar and recorded a succession of riffs, slides, and loops and arranged them in a seemless way. The song has a good, chunky beat and very groovy feel that's somewhere between Acoustic Alchemy and John Mellancamp's 'Jack And Diane', and then transcends into a light, hypnotic 16-beat groove that in my opinion could just go on forever.
The thing I REALLY like is the non-abuse of the arrangement: There's one part near the beginning where Jogeir opens up into a simple, electric guitar solo that sounds like Mike Rutherford from Genesis or Slowhand (Clapton) and it only lasts for about 15 seconds or so - so sad and sweet and you'll never hear it again in the whole song. The fifes are not overdone either - using subtle pitch bends and two-note accents (sampled) and not dominating large parts of the song.
As the review team says - 'if you don't download it - there's something wrong with you.' I say if you don't download it - you will never know what to base the best off of. To add, it's impressive to mix an arrangement like this with only 4 channels! 'Nuff said. Thanks, Jogeir!
WOWIE!! This has got to be one of the best mods I've ever heard! The Guitar samples are of good quality and are mixed in very nicely, and the instrument arrangement here is absolutely fantastic! The song is not repetative or boring, It is lively and fast plus it is very entertaining. From the fast paced tune at the front to the slower conclusion, the song always changes, using different instruments and effects. Jogeir Liljedahl, I solute you! If you don't download this, there is something wrong with you...

This one is a classic, very calm and cheery. It has some nice guitar samples too :)
