Illegal instruction showed already with nightfall that he can mix drum 'n bass and jazz perfectly. This one is the same style as Nightfall, but more in the direction of modern jazz, like Mezzoforte. Beautiful jazz, only the lead guitar sucks a bit. A bit cheap, but as it goes higher it sounds more like a high synth, which sounds better. But I know a guitar is hard to control in tracker, just check tracked metal songs for example. The beats are once again in the background, just like the bassline. It's a chillout song, not to dance to. The chords are good, in a premium jazz style. II is good at this (once again see 'Nightfall') and it takes much advantage of the panning. The main thing is the strong melody, how it slides over the synths and beats. That's true artwork. I didn't liked it as much as Nightfall, what looks like this one a lot, but it's an extraordinary style which II uses, and I like it. Keep it up, Illegal instruction!
