Hallucinations offers little in the way of surprises - having a steady pace throughout. The instruments do not blend particularly well, although the beat is quite catchy. The artist has not displayed any technical deficiency - although the timing is a little dodgy on some of the lead instruments.

This is, for me, a classic, with interesting & eerie sounds that fit the title, with an eerie note progression, as well as a spacey & hypnotic monotony that also works for the theme. The best part is the bright chorus, IMO. The low part is the stutter before the choruses, also IMO.
This mod was my first exposure to the Led Zeppelin “When the levee breaks” drum loop, used in many songs and soundtracks (eg: Farscape “Thrown for a loss”, IIRC).
I’d love to know where the [non-drum] instrument samples came from. I liked them so much I used them all in one of my own mods years ago (“Hall of faces”).
I once found myself in contact with the author online, whose name doesn’t seem to be listed here, and I cannot recall now, unfortunately. I can’t recall if this mod was made for a loader or demo. Anyone know more?
